HIGASHIYA GINZA

This luxurious Ginza tea house and confectionary shop is the ultimate destination for super-high quality tea and wagashi variations of all kinds. The tea parlor and adjacent shop offer a traditional tea house experience with a perfect modern twist, focusing on serving their guests seasonal drinks and dishes. The teas are freshly brewed by the Higashiya staff and are served with a beautifully handmade seasonal sweet. If you feel hungry, try one of their traditional Japanese dinner courses and you will not be disappointed.

Higashiya also boasts one of the fanciest bathrooms we know - including a stone sink and black designer toilet which welcomes you with a selection of classical music.

On your way out don’t forget to check out the confectionary shop and small exhibiton space in the entrance area which sell delicious sweets (we recommend the ginger-flavoured rice crackers called “shoga okoshi”) and exquisitely designed tableware.

Finally, exit like a celebrity through the glass elevator which leads you to the ground-floor  (and also very beautiful) POLA cosmetics shop.
