レボン快哉湯 rebon Kaisaiyu
Originally built in 1928, Kaisaiyu has been a beloved local sento (public bathhouse) for generations, where people would gather, chat, and relax. The traditional bathhouse features, like the iconic wooden attendant’s booth, the Mount Fuji mural, and nostalgic signs in the changing rooms, paint a vivid picture of its heyday.
Although Kaisaiyu closed its doors in November 2016 due to the aging building and facilities, its spirit lives on through the rebon Kaisaiyu project. Committed to preserving the building’s history and memories, the space has been reborn as a cozy café and event venue. On the menu: coffee and ice cream — a nod to the tradition of enjoying ice cream after a hot bath, now a beloved highlight of the café’s offerings.
Menu:
Coffe&Tea: ¥500~
Coffe&Ice Cream: ¥980~
